北京見到毛主席
When I Saw Chairman Mao in Beijing
北京見到毛主席，
When I Saw Chairman Mao inBeijing,
渾身是勁精神抖。
I felt I was enthusiastic and energetic.
滿懷豪情干革命，
Imbued with aspiration, I was devoted to the revolution
永生永世不回頭。
With my whole life.
注：此詩作于1959年10月。系作者被評為全國勞動模范，應(yīng)邀參加國慶十周年大典，登上天安門觀禮臺，見到毛主席后所作。
Note: This poem was written in October 1959, when Wang Jinxi was awarded the title of “National Model Worker” and invited to participate in the 10th anniversary of the National Day Ceremony. After he ascended the Watching Tower of Tiananmen and saw Chairman Mao, he wrote this poem.
誓奪頭號大油田
We Are Going to Construct the Largest Oil Field inChina
北風當電扇
We take the sharp north wind as fan
大雪是炒面，
And the cold snow as fried noodles.
天南海北來會戰(zhàn)，
Coming from all over the country, we gather here
誓奪頭號大油田。
To construct the largest oil field inChina.
干！干！干！
Work! Work! Work!

天大困難也不怕
We Never Fear Any Difficulty
石油工人一聲吼，
When Oil workers speak aloud,
地球也要抖三抖。
The earth shakes three times.
石油工人干勁大，
With great enthusiasm,
天大困難也不怕。
We never fear any difficulty.
注：此詩作于1960年3、4月間，首次發(fā)表于當年“五一”在薩爾圖召開的“石油大會戰(zhàn)誓師大會”上。
Note: This poem was written in March or April 1960 and firstly announced in the “Rally of the Oil Workers” held in Sartu in May 1, 1960.
永保今日幸福年
The Happy Life Today Will Be Eternal
石油工人學(xué)“毛選”，
When the oil workers learn The Selected Works of Chairman Mao,
字字句句記心間。
They remember each word and sentence.
牢記昔日苦和難，
Keeping in mind firmly the hardships they suffered in the past,
永保今日幸福年。
They hope the happy life today will be eternal.

迎著困難往前跑。
And make progress by overcoming difficulties.
多快好省建油田，
We construct more oil fields with high quality in a fast and economical way

To catch up with the developed countries.

石油工人志氣大，
The oil workers have big ambition
改天換地把井打。
And construct the oil well.
艱苦奮斗創(chuàng)奇跡，
Working hard, they make the miracle of
年上十萬甩美帝。
100 thousand tons of oil per year and surpassedAmerica.

The Red Flag Flies above the Iced Ground
冰封萬里紅旗飄，
The red flag flies above the iced ground,
鋼鐵井隊戰(zhàn)志高。
The strong-willed oil workers maintain high morale.
準學(xué)準趕不準超，
Learning from each other and vying with each other,
標桿林里永逞豪。
They show their pride in the oil filed.
世界冠軍要咱當
We Strive to Be the World Champion
大地回春練兵忙，
Spring comes back and the oil workers are busy.
磨好刀槍整好裝。
With full preparation,
只待戰(zhàn)令一聲下，
They are waiting for the orders,
躍馬揚鞭上戰(zhàn)場。
And devoted to the oil field immediately.
莊稼喜雨花朝陽，
The crop depends on rain and the flower on sunshine,
會戰(zhàn)全靠共產(chǎn)黨。
The construction is lead by Communist Party of China.
中華民族站起來，
Chinese people will stand up in the word,
世界冠軍要咱當！
We strive to be the world champion.

The Brake Crank in Hand Is Like a Bayonet
手扶剎把像刺刀，
The brake crank in hand is like a bayonet.
轉(zhuǎn)盤一轉(zhuǎn)響起了沖鋒號。
The turntable rotates as if the bugle sounds.
鉆桿就像機槍和大炮，
The drill pipe is like the scatter-gun and cannon.
壓力一加，
Once pressed,
鉆頭就向地球里頭跑，
The aiguille digs the earth.
鉆完進尺，
And later,
原油就呼嚕嚕地往地面冒。
The crude oil emerges into the ground.
支援越南人民，淹死美國佬！
We supportVietnamto fight againstAmerica.

The oil workers have sharp insight.
立場堅定斗志昂。
With strong will and high morale,
決心消滅害人蟲，
They are determined to clear away the enemies
舉拳砸碎鬼黑幫！
And destroy the anti-revolutionary groups.

Two
牛鬼蛇神想變天，
The bad guys hope in vain to seize the power
披著“紅旗”放毒箭。
And attack the upright people in the name of safeguarding the country.
石油工人眼睛亮，
While the oil workers have sharp insight
一個壞蛋也不放。
And would not let them go away.

巍峨高山萬年松
The Lofty Mountain and Old Pine Trees
巍峨高山萬年松，
The mountain is lofty and the pine is old,
馬恩列斯毛澤東。
So are Marx, Engels, Lenin, Stalin, and Chairman Mao.
領(lǐng)袖銅像紅心鑄，
We cast the bronze statue of Chairman Mao,
光芒萬丈太陽紅。
Whose light is like the red sun.

Tirana, home of heroes,
遍地盛開石油花，
Is rich in oil.
一盞明燈照歐洲，
Like a bright lamp inEurope,
腳踩帝修建國家。
The construction here surpasses the capitalist world.

Albania Is Red
山鷹之國一片紅，
Albania is red,
橄欖葡萄萬年松，
There are olive, grape, and pine.
歐洲革命創(chuàng)樣板，
A model sample of revolution inEurope,
反帝反修是先鋒。
Albania is a pioneer in the struggle against imperialism and revisionism.
一手拿鎬搞建設(shè)，
Pickaxe in one hand, Albanian construct the country.
一手拿槍練沖鋒，
Gun in the other, Albanian train the army.
人人熱愛恩維爾【注】，
Everybody loves Enver
個個歡呼毛澤東。
And welcomes Chairman Mao.

The Adriatic Sea is roaring.
壯麗紅旗舞東風，
The red flag flies in the wind.
中阿人民齊歡呼，
Chinese and Albanian acclaim
萬歲霍查【注】——毛澤東！
Long live Hoxha and Chairman Mao!
兩國相隔萬里遠，
In spite of the long distance,
人民如同親弟兄，
Chinese andAlbaniaare like brothers.
深情厚意心連心，
Sharing the similar experience, they bear deep feelings towards each other.
偉大友誼萬年青！
Great friendship is everlasting!
